As, Los Angeles has begun to slowly re-open various parts of the city and economy after being shut down due to COVID-19, she has been spotted hitting the gym and going out to eat with her mom.
Her outing comes three months after she made a particularly cavalier video questioning social distancing and shutting down all non-essential services through the summer on an Instagram Live.
‘Um, yeah, till July sounds like a bunch of bull****, I’m sorry,’ she said. ‘It’s a virus, I get it, I respect it, but at the same time, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible, but like … inevitable? I dunno, maybe I shouldn’t be doing this right now.’

After she was slammed by a number of fans and fellow celebs, Vanessa sought to quell the controversy with a series of clips in which she walked back the divisive comments.
Shortly thereafter, Hudgens said in a follow up-clip: ‘Some of my comments are being taken out of context. It’s a crazy time. I’m at home in lockdown, and that’s what I hope you guys are doing too. In full quarantine. And staying safe and sane. I don’t take this situation lightly by any means. I am home. So stay inside, y’all.’
She also posted a quote to say she’s come around and understands the massive impact of COVID-19.
‘I’m so sorry for the way i have offended anyone and everyone… I realize my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation our country and the world are in right now,’ the Powerless star said. ‘This has been a huge wake up call about the significance my words have.’
